Front of House - Bartender

We’re on the lookout for confident, capable Front of House bar staff to join our friendly team at The Star Inn, Waldron — a vibrant village pub known for its warm welcome, quality drinks, and seasonal food.

About the Role:
You’ll be working behind the bar and out on the floor, creating a welcoming environment for guests and delivering outstanding service. From pulling the perfect pint to shaking up cocktails and crafting quality coffee, you’ll be a key part of our guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve drinks efficiently and professionally, including draught beers, wines, spirits, cocktails, and barista-style coffee

  • Provide warm, friendly service to all guests

  • Take orders and run food and drinks to tables when needed

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area

  • Handle payments and operate the till accurately

  • Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar bar or pub role

  • Confident pouring pints, making classic cocktails, and preparing speciality coffees

  • Great customer service and communication skills

  • A positive attitude and team-focused mindset

  • Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure

  • Must be over 18 due to the sale of alcohol
